At Pencak Silat Alazhar SBD Martial Arts, our mission is to provide the highest quality martial arts training in a safe and supportive environment. We are committed to helping our students achieve their goals, whether it's improving their physical fitness, learning self-defence skills, or simply having fun. We strive to instill discipline, respect, and confidence in all of our students.
Our instructors are highly trained and experienced martial artists who are passionate about teaching. They provide personalized attention and guidance to each student, helping them to improve their technique and reach their full potential. Our instructors are committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all of our students.
We offer a variety of programmes to meet the needs of every student, from beginners to advanced. Our programmes include karate, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, and more. We also offer specialized programmes for kids, teens, and adults. Our programmes are designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall fitness while teaching valuable self-defence skills.
A typical class runs as follows:
1. Opening ritual
2. Warm up, Stretching, Breathing & Physical conditioning
3. Review of former lessons
4. A new lesson on techniques, forms and self-defense
5. Extra practice of the lesson of the day
6. Announcements & Closing ritual
Classes are focused on building physical strength, balance and techniques.
In addition to forms, fighting techniques and physical conditioning, sparring and preparation for tournaments usually takes place in extra classes so those who are beginners or prefer to learn slowly do not feel left behind.
