Congratulations to our Youth Champions for good performance

We are very proud of young athletes who participated on July 05, 2025 at the Annual Kickboxing Summer Smash tournament organized by WAKO Canada. For many of them it was the first time on a kickboxing ring. This year we won 1 gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.

A New program

Champion Program

We have a new program in place for those who want to compete in open Martial Arts competitions (Seni & Tanding). It is a minimum 3 days/week training.

In addition to Silat competitions, some of our athletes will be able to compete in sanctioned Kickboxing and MMA tournaments in the near future.

        Welcome to Pencak Silat Alazhar SBD Martial Arts in Canada

        Pencak Silat Alazhar SBD Martial Arts is an affiliate – and the Canadian representative – of the renowned school of Pencak Silat Al-Azhar Seni Bela Diri Martial Arts Indonesia. The school has hundreds of branches  in Indonesia and worldwide including New York and Washington. Our Canadian school is the third fully established school of Alazhar Pencak Silat in North America.

        What we offer?

        In addition to learning one of the traditional Martial Arts that is ancient, comprehensive and rich, we also offer  effective Self-Defence, Social Skills and Spiritual development.
